What's the point? - Pietro Terzini

Pietro Terzini

Handwritten Art

Walls can be elegant, historic, and impressive – but at GRACE LA MARGNA we like to give them a touch of unexpected magic.

In collaboration with the Italian artist Pietro Terzini, our façade became a canvas for contemporary light and creative statements. His work moves at the intersection of fashion, design, and art – and during the winter season 2025/2026 it was brought impressively to life at GRACE.

Tony Kelly

Bold, vibrant, provocative, cinematic

A riot of colour, a lick of gloss and a touch of irony – welcome to the sunshine-drenched world of Tony Kelly.  Cinematic, stylish, theatrical and very, very sexy, Kelly’s work is a blissful brew of colour and gloss. It is little wonder he is often referred to as a modern-day Helmut Newton. Some of his works are on display here at the hotel.

Susan Tauss

triptych

Susan Tauss creates intense color contrasts on heavy handmade paper that curves in space and almost seems tangible. Color fields and textures overlap into a dense fabric of seen and felt rhythm, guiding the viewer on a journey through their own aesthetic perception. Her artwork, the triptych, is displayed directly at our concierge desk and can be admired.

Johann Feuerstein

Photographer from Engadin

Johann Feuerstein (1871–1945) opened a modest photography studio in Scuol in 1898 and devoted his life to photography. He documented everyday life in the Lower Engadin and, from 1914, the development of the Swiss National Park as its official chronicler. His work laid the foundation for three generations of the Feuerstein family, who continued photography in the Engadin, capturing the region’s culture, nature, and economic development. Three of his works are on display here at the GRACE.

Rosa Vives

Terres fermes

Rosa Vives has pursued an independent artistic career since 1972, focusing on painting and printmaking. At the same time, she engages intensively with the theory, history, and practice of art - reflected in numerous publications, research projects, and curatorial activities.

Inspired by the landscapes of the Engadin - its traditions, sgraffito, the Romansh language, and its impressive mountain scenery - as well as by her own memories of Catalonia, she developed a wide-open triptych. The composition connects these two landscapes in a poetic cartography, unfolding like a journey between two “terres fermes”.

A L'UR DAL GOD

Born in Scuol and trained at the Zürich School of Arts and Crafts, Seraina Feuerstein has been working as an independent artist and curator in Zürich and Graubünden since 1984.

Her “Forest” series captures abstract landscapes, condenses color nuances, and plays with intuition, chance, and experimental design. The scraped surfaces and traces of her tools create a poetic, almost musical effect.

At the GRACE, her work A L’UR DAL GOD is on display.
